From Options
-> Settings ->Select City then type your city
name in City text box and click search button,
you will get cities listed in that list then
scroll to your desired city and select it.

How is that the application timings are
different from my city azaan timings? |
|
The application shows the awqaat-e-salaat
meaning the beginning and end times of a particular
salaat/namaaz. And the azaan for a particular
salaat/namaaz has to be within that interval.
Hence they will be different.

How will i know that my set is java enabled? |
|
In the settings field of your
phone, check out for the java settings.If java
settings is present, ""awqaat-e-salaat" application
will run on your set.or you cal also search online
or refere to the maunufacturer's manual to learn
more.

How will i know about the memory on my
cell phone? |
|
In the option called Memory,you
can get the information about memory, if not
then connect a cable to your system and check
out the memory details.

How to use the calculated value of qibla
direction? |
|
Place the image in such
a direction such that North of the Qibla as displayed
in "awqaat-e-salaat" is pointing to the magentic
north and then follow the direction to Kaaba
on the "awqaat-e-salaat" application. The calculated
angle will be in the north of west direction.

How about the hijri calendar? |
|
Hijri Calendar is the
Islamic Calendar,the green color box marks the
current day of the hijri calendar.The Hijri calendar
AS IN "awqaat-e-salaat" also marks the important
days in Islam.

What is hijri correction? |
|
Hijri Correction should
be done based on moonsighting. Whenever you get
a message from alazaan then enter the value which
is either a +1 or -1 or any number that is passed.

How to set auto alerts & asr method? |
|
In Auto Alerts If you
set ""On"" you get alert at the beginning of
the Salaat time. In Imam Shafi/Hanafi: For Asr
salaat time based on Imam Shafi, select Imam
Shafi for Asr method. For Asr salaat time based
on Imam Hanafi, select Imam Hanafi for Asr method.

What is the default settings? |

If you select the default
settings, the auto alerts are set to "ON" and
the salath alert preferences are set to "0".

|
To activate the application
you need to purcahse the product.Please visit

|
The jad/jar files are
the mobile application files, install these files
onto the set and run the application.

|
To save the application
onto the memory card, when installing the file
you will be asked where to save the file ,select "memory".

|
When once the application
is installed completely,check out for the icon
,it may be on the main menu or it may be in subfolders
depending on where you have chosen to install
it..Open the application and set for your city.

The sets with the java
settings and minimum of 500kb of memory will

How can i install on palm and run the application? |
|
Palm will support the
(*.prc) files.Before installing the application
HotSync your data and install prc using the quick
install.The prc file will be installed and you
can see the icon, open the application and set
your city.

|
Check out the list of
cell phoes that support the application on our
website "www.alazaan.com:, you can get the details
ascertianing if your cell phone is CLDC1.0/CLDC1.1.

How is the software useful? |
|
Salaat/Namaaz is obligatory
and "awqaat-e-salaat" will help you in determinig
the begininng and end times for each salaat/namaaz.
It will guide you to makrooh times, help you
keep up with the Hjri calender, read and rememeber
duas for this world and the hereafter and be
enagged in zikr by using our "tasbee"always be
engaged in the remeberance of Allah subhanawatala.
It is also very helpfull during travel and a
wonderfull application to teach our youth and
old alike on the important aspects of leading
our daily lives according to the sunnah of our
beloved prophet Muhammad salallahu-alai-hiwa-sallam.
Select "tasbee" from
option and choose the count (33/100), then by
pressing the center select button or 7/9 buttons,the "awqaat-e-salaat" tasbee
will count and beep when the chosen option is
reached.

Will the application cause any problem
to my set? |

alazaan's "awqaat-e-salaat" application
is similar to other mobile application you may
have on your cell phone, if used as directed
by alazaan and your cell phone manufacturer's
guidelines then it may not casue any serious
issues to your cell phone.

What to do to get the alerts on time? |
|
Make sure that auto alerts
are 'on' and in Alarm settings choose "Alarm " for
all the salaat.

What is the Makrooh time in application? |
|
Makrooh time is the time
where offering of any salaat is prohibited .The
alazaan application shows three Makrooh time:
a)At the point of sunrise to 20min ahead. b)5
min before and after the Zawaal i.e. midday.
c)10min before the Maghrib salaat.(According
to some ulama you can pray the Fard Asr salaat/namaaz
for that day if you have not already offered
it).

How about salaat alert preferences? |
|
Suppose you want an alarm
10min before/after the Fajr Salaat, in the Salaat
Alert Preference set (-10) in the field. You
can set befor/after alarm for all the salaat
times.

How to set alarm for particular salaat? |
|
In the Alarm Settings,
set ""Alarm"" for the particular salaat and make
sure that Auto Alerts is ""on"".

|
The (*.prc) file is the
file supported by the palm set's.

When once you have the
jad/jar files on desktop, connect a cable to
your cell phone and PC, Ex: If you have Nokia
cell phone,use Nokia PC suite Check out the memory.
Tranfer the files onto your set and the application
will be installed."

the application time may differ from the current
local time, in clock settings select the country
and check if the displayed time is equal to local
